After Pleasant Harbor, we motored for 6 hours and stayed at the Port of Kinston for two nights.  http://portofkingston.org
The people that assisted us in the Marina office could not have been nicer and gave us great tips for the area.  They also brought a pump to our boat, so we could do a dockside pump out, and helped us in getting a hose to use for some water.  Our favorite restaurant was The Kingston Ale House https://www.facebook.com/TheKingstonAleHouse/, we ordered take out from there the first night and went there with the kids the second night. There is a bar in front, restaurant in back and a lovely deck in back.  Check out Mora Ice Cream across the street for locally made fantastic ice cream.  http://moraicecream.com

Another highlight in Kingston was the the Firehouse Theater, it's within walking distance from the marina.  We saw The Secret Life of Pets. www.kingstonfirehouse.com
