Pleasant Harbor, WA Hood Canal

After 2 nights in Port Ludlow, we headed to Pleasant Harbor, which is about half way down Hood Canal.  It took us about 3 hours motoring to get there from Port Ludlow.  Pleasant Harbor is exactly what it's name describes, very pleasant.  A small cove tucked into trees and mountains.  The Marina, facilities and pool have been remodeled in the past two years, they did a fantastic job.  The pool was a hit with the kids and hot tub was enjoyed by all.  We had lunch one day at the Pub, which was ok, great option for getting off the boat for a meal.  They do offer breakfast, lunch and dinner.  The Pub hosts live music on Saturdays in the Summer.  The music is on the upper deck, and is 21 and over, you can hear the music from your boat as well.  We loved our time there and they are wanting more boaters to come enjoy their newly remodeled space. http://pleasantharbormarina.com
